7/27/2024 - Had a lot of fun seeing Beck at Wolf Trap tonight. Picked up empanadas on the way over, got there super early like 5:30 PM, easy parking. Tailgated with my new chair set up met some really cool people there Hope & Mike and had a great time!!

Saturday July 27, 2024:
Planned this one out pretty good! Left home about 5 PM, stopped by Four Mile Food Company to get some empanadas from their ghost kitchen. Parked at Wolf Trap on the paved lot by 5:30 PM. The couple who parked next to me were a super cool Florida couple who added me on Facebook! Two hours flew by hanging out and the weather was perfect! Plus I got to try my new tailgating chair! 8 PM came around so we hiked up to the amphitheater. Beck with NSO was great although the orchestra part was a bit slow with all the deep cuts. He did play The New Pollution and Where It's At with the orchestra though! Once the orchestra left the show got really good! Beck inspected all the random instruments left behind and even chatted with one of the guys who was slow to pack up. I agreed that Beck's dance moves were fun to watch too! Then Beck played the hits with just his band including a wicked harmonica solo that was fun to experience! Songs like Devils Haircut and Loser really made the night special. Too bad my phone storage capped out on my and I got Where It's At recorded but not Loser! Oops! I made my way back to my car and hung out with my new friends Hope and Mike as the traffic dissipated. Snuck out the back way to route 7 and I was home in almost no time! What a great show! If only every Wolf Trap concert could have weather as good as this!!
