2/15/2001 (Thursday), Day 38:
My plane to Rome took off at about 9 AM. We got there at noon and stayed in the airport for about an hour before leaving which was a little badly planned. After some difficulty with transportation and people waiting for their bags we were finally off to see Rome! At least we made it to the Colosseum the first day! I had a great single room at the hotel luckily right across the hall from Mario and Daryl. Pizza in Italy was so good! We also went on a walking tour and saw The Forum and a lot of downtown Rome. Mario, Daryl, and I ended up at a bar that night and watched a bit of soccer, Rome versus Liverpool. My ravioli dinner was pretty good too! What a fun trip so far!
