Nothingness Forever |
4/9/2000
|
I scream! Hands pull me out of bed. Confusion sets in. Frantically, I try to make it to the door, but I feel a stab of pain. That's when I ease into the world of nothingness. Later, I wake up. I hear voices of people talking quietly. I open my eyes and to my surprise it is dark. I cannot see. What is around me I cannot tell. The air is damp. It feels like a cellar. Oh God, why did they take me here? Someone notices that I awoke. They tell me to sit up, that I will not be hurt. So I do as I am told. The room becomes still as a man begins to speak. His voice echoes clear and audible. I suppose that he is boss of these people and so I do not like him. He brought me here for no reason. He tells me to stand up and I obey. He says that he will kill me because I am his enemy. Enemy? I reply. He does not answer. So I repeat what I said. And then. That's when the world of nothingness greets me again. Only this time, it is forever.
