2004, This Love by Maroon 5 was huge. So was Usher's song Yeah. Switchfoot's song Meant To Live was played a lot. So was Linkin Park's Breaking The Habit. I myself was glad to see The Streets at the 9:30 Club, that was probably my favorite concert of 2004. Also, the B-52's at Wolf Trap was fun, too. Good times. |

2004 TOP 10 ALBUMS |
| |
 | The Music's Welcome To The North is the most innovative, cutting edge rock music I've ever heard. Bleed From Within is like their Stairway To Heaven. And every other track is just as amazing. Seriously!
| |
 | End Of The Day is one of my favorite Kemopetrol songs, but I love every one on here. Laura Närhi is great in whatever she does! I like them just as much as I like Massive Attack, which is a lot!
| |
 | I first heard of Breaking Benjamin when So Cold was played so much on the radio. I never looked back. Sure Ben got help from Billy Corgan for the song, but I don't mind. It's a damn good one!
| |
 | Always a fan of Jon Crosby's music and his Vast (Visual Audio Sensory Theater) projects. Nude is no exception. Lost and Desert Garden are my particular favorites.
| |
 | What could possibly be the last good album by Bjork before she went completely downhill. Where is the line with her?
| |
 | Probably one of the most impressive albums ever, it takes concept record to a whole new level. Each song stands well enough on their own, but they all tell a story chapter by chapter. Bravo Mike Skinner, bravo!
| |
 | This could be Relient K's best album. I love their writing styles and how catchy their songs are. Yes, they are overly religious, but I still enjoy them a lot!
| |
 | Quite possibly my favorite Faithless record ever. I want more!
| |
 | An amazing album so underappreciated and mostly unnoticed by basically everyone. I myself picked it up randomly and love every bit of it. So much better than her other band (Hole) and glad she's not with Courteney Love anymore for sure! Every track is amazing!
| |
 | Everyone Alive could just be one of the best Local H tracks ever. California Songs is up there as well (and Fuck New York too!).

2004 HONORABLE MENTIONS |
| |
 | Basically a Silverchair sideproject. The Dissociatives album was pretty good, it reminds me a lot of the Sneaker Pimps. All the songs on here work well together.
| |
 | Utada is great! This album is pretty good too, songs like Exodus 04, Easy Breezy are great, but my favorite is Hotel Lobby.
| |
 | This album is pretty memorable because if how weird it is, mostly built off facts and news, it sure is something strange!
| |
 | On Your Wings is my favorite track.
| |
 | The stripped-down version of Crash Test Dummies that I know so well from God Shuffled His Feet never sounded better than this!
| |
 | She's The Blade (and you're just paper!) was played so much on the radio! Great song.
| |
 | An absolutely terrible band name, but memorable! I particularly like the song I Love You Cause I Have To, and it was featured in a mix I put together with The Killers and Hot Action Cop.
| |
 | Jem might be overshadowed by Dido, Tori Amos, or even Imogen Heap, but her album Finally Woken was played a lot and caught onto me. I particularly like They and Save Me.
| |
 | I'm a pretty big fan of Client and this album is just like the others, full of fun catchy tunes. All their songs are great!
| |
 | I played the heck out of this album when it first came out! Dance party yeah!
| |
 | Bella Morte is a local rock band from Virginia that I like. This album is similar to their others, which sound ilke AFI. Undone is one of my favorite Bella Morte songs.
| |
 | Emcee Murdah and Man I Used To Be are great. This album is fun hip hop you can dance to!
