Possibly the coolest thing about 2006 was getting to see Massive Attack live. That was pretty amazing! |

2006 TOP 10 ALBUMS |
| |
 | Amazing album by a somewhat local band from Richmond. I love it!
| |
 | Planet, Any Day's Ok, Am I Going To Heaven, are all classic Kemopetrol songs. Their albums never fail. I only wish they would come out with more!
| |
 | Hill Of Our Home is the best Psapp song ever! King Of You is also great. Always quirky and fun, Psapp is a band to love if you like cats, and perhaps even if you don't!
| |
 | Snow is possibly my favorite Red Hot Chili Peppers song to come along in a long time. I really liked this album even with it being a double CD with this many songs. Pretty amazing how they all work well together! Dani California is also good.
| |
 | Classic Cowboy Mouth! Not quite as good as Jenny Says, but they still got it.
| |
 | I Can't Decide, Land Of A Thousand Words, and Ooh are all classic Scissor Sisters. Not quite as good as their first album, but still great!
| |
 | Into The Ocean was played so much on the radio I just had to have the album! The rest of the album is pretty good, too. You Make Me Smile and Hate Me also stand out.
| |
 | Happy Annie has shown up on so many of my mixes, it could almost be long enough for an album of its own! Amazing. I also really like Cool Cool Universe, The Beat, and of course Lovers In Captivity. Never really got into Edward Sharpe's stuff though.
| |
 | Digital Lover, Ladrona, Down With You, Luisa, and the cover Love Is A Battlefield, all great. This is great P-1 stuff. I really wish they were more well known.
| |
 | This album isn't all that great, but Music Matters was amazing.

2006 HONORABLE MENTIONS |
| |
 | Why not just listen to Play?
| |
 | Massive Attack can do no wrong, and while Collected is great, I'd rather listen to their regular studio albums any day.
| |
 | Not enough memorable songs on here, unfortunately.
| |
 | Sam's Town and When You Were Young are great and I like their singles, but never was a huge fan of their albums. Oh well.
| |
 | |
| |
 | This album was just okay. She Wants Revenge is just a better band and I'd much rather listen to them any day.
| |
 | Not very memorable at all, unfortunately.
